Adoration Health in Columbus, GA is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN, weekly visits. Join a supportive team delivering patient-centered care in the home setting with collaboration from clinicians and caregivers.

Therapies focus on communication, feeding, and quality of life in the patient’s home. The role requires a Master’s in SLP, active state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech or language disorders.
• Provide 1:1 therapy in home health settings.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and progress.
• Document clinical notes and progress per agency policy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support continued progress.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
