Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication challenges in Texas schools. You will evaluate needs, communicate findings to families and district staff, and develop targeted therapeutic interventions that align with IEP goals.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, monitor student progress with data, and participate in ARD meetings to advocate for effective special education services. This is a school-based role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas state licensure to practice as an SLP.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify needs for therapy.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel clearly.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to develop evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver therapy services directly or supervise SLP Assistants on IEP goals.
• Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions based on data.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
