Job summary

French Lick Resort is seeking a Dual-Rate Slot Supervisor/Slot Service Representative to oversee the Slot Department on a scheduled shift and to provide consistently high levels of guest service. The role emphasizes supervision, training, payroll tasks, and adherence to casino policies and standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least 21, able to obtain a gaming license, and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or HSED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must read/write/speak English and respond to cues.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise slot operations on assigned shift and ensure guest service excellence.
• Monitor slot areas for irregularities and machine integrity.
• Enforce security policies for monies, parts, equipment, and documentation.
• Communicate information clearly across shifts using effective tools.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior per standards.
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors and managers.
• Provide supervision to all slot staff on the shift.
• Take responsibility for overall shift performance and results.
• Train new associates on the assigned shift.
• Delegate tasks and track completion to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure accurate shift paperwork and records; investigate discrepancies.
• Perform payroll duties and maintain attendance records.
• Maintain orderly, positive working environment in the Slot Department.
• Assist with recruitment, training, coaching and discipline as needed.
• Keep associates informed of resort activities and events.
• Assist with tournaments, marketing and player events.
• Assist with slot moves and related slot projects as required.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
