Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent) or 3–5 years training/experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills.
• Strong gaming, managerial, administrative and financial acumen.
• 4–6 years experience in Slot Performance or Operations.
• Ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle complex and emotional issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff performance as pertains to department procedures, game security and compliance with Maryland Lottery Commission regulations.
• Performs scheduling, evaluations, discipline and training of slot technical personnel.
• Assists Slot Performance Manager in planning slot projects and provides suggestions for improvements.
• Trains slot repair personnel on all types of slots and gaming equipment.
• Schedules and oversee work assignments; assists with assignments when needed.
• Produces technical machine operation evaluations in resolving customer disputes and regulation compliance.
• Supervises control of keys and locks to maintain security of assets.
• Responsible for control of parts distribution, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Works with other departments or outside contractors to ensure work is completed as requested.
• Reviews paperwork completed by slot technician staff for accuracy.
• Observes slot floor operation and evaluates technicians' performance.
• Provides legendary guest service to resolve guest complaints and disputes.
• Promotes all department and property guest service initiatives.
