Job summary

Jamul Casino is seeking a Slot Technician Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair of slot machines, provide friendly guest service, and manage a team of Slot Technicians. The role demands strict adherence to regulatory procedures and a focus on safety and reliability across all gaming devices.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, performing preventative maintenance, coordinating parts inventory, and training technicians to ensure top performance during gaming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One-year related experience and/or training
• Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required
• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful guest service to all guests and team members.
• Provide work direction and supervision to Slot Technicians.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all aspects of slot machine maintenance; moves, conversions, and repair.
• Oversee electronic gaming device activities for adherence to procedures in collaboration with Slot Technical Assistant Managers.
• Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system.
• Interact with Slot Operations personnel and guests while repairing slot machine functions.
• Assist with slot layout and installation.
• Train Slot Technicians in job duties and tasks related to Slot Technician position.
• Direct and perform with special projects as assigned.
• Direct and perform preventative maintenance of slot machines: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
• Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs.
• Perform floor maintenance: troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.
• Assist guests with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
• Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate.
• Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
• Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
