You will maintain production records, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, computer skills, and data entry
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and measurements

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot and document equipment issues; initiate repairs
• Instruct trainees in slitter operation and record keeping
• Read measurements and record results; perform yardage checks
• Ensure correct materials are retrieved and used; issue hold tags and send samples to lab
• Record outputs in required documents or computer; perform data entry in SAP
• Participate in S4 continuous improvement meetings and apply related concepts
• Communicate equipment problems to shift leadership; adhere to safety rules
