Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run slitter lines, follow safety rules, and maintain production records, ensuring quality and efficiency in a busy plant.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, input data into SAP, and support continuous improvement teams; the role requires reading gauges, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently within a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to read length measurements, gauges and meters.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform safety inspections and document results.
• Instruct trainees and record keeping; read gauges and meters.
• Perform data-entry in SAP and participate in continuous improvement projects.
