Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run manual and automatic slitter lines, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will maintain records, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

The role requires following procedures, reading gauges, and performing material yardage checks, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, computer skills, and data entry.
• Able to read gauges and meters; measure length.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment; perform safety inspections.
• Instruct trainees in slitter operation and record keeping.
• Read measurements and record output; perform yardage checks.
