Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and operate manual or automatic slitter lines and related packing operations. You will follow safety rules, maintain production records, troubleshoot, and contribute to quality improvements on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, safety compliance, reading gauges, data entry on SAP, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Able to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently or in a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, computer skills, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Read gauges/meters and record output; ensure correct materials.
• Perform data-entry on SAP and record in production documents.
• Participate in S4 continuous improvement teams and projects.
