Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a reliable Slitter Operator to set up and run manual and automatic slitter lines and associated packing operations. You will follow safety rules, maintain records, and support quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, ability to read gauges, and experience with data entry in SAP. Join a team focused on safety, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality tapes.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, computer skills, and data entry.
• Ability to read measurements, gauges and meters.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure finishing equipment is working, troubleshoot, document, and initiate repairs.
• Instruct trainees in all phases of slitter operation and record keeping.
• Read tags to ensure correct materials are used.
• Record output results and enter data into SAP.
• Participate in continuous improvement meetings and projects.
• Apply safety rules when entering the manufacturing facility.
