Job summary

Mattress Warehouse / Sleep Outfitters is seeking a sales associate to guide customers through a consultative buying process, leveraging bedMATCH technology to tailor sleep solutions. No mattress sales experience is required, and training is provided.

You will engage customers, educate them on products, and drive toward store sales goals while using tablets and POS systems. Evening and weekend availability is required, with a focus on delivering a high-quality shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Consultative, retail, commissioned, or customer-facing sales experience.
• Experience helping customers make high-consideration purchases.
• Background in automotive, wireless, jewelry, furniture, appliances, electronics, power equipment, or similar sales environments.
• Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort starting conversations, asking questions, recommending solutions, and working toward sales goals.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through a consultative sales process by asking questions and understanding their needs.
• Use product knowledge and our exclusive bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system to recommend personalized sleep solutions.
• Create a relaxed, educational, and low-pressure shopping experience.

• Work toward individual and store sales goals.
• Use tablets, mobile point-of-sale systems, and other retail technology.
• Maintain an inviting Mattress Warehouse / Sleep Outfitters showroom environment.
• Assist customers with loading mattress purchases when needed.
