Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach to provide excellent customer service and CPAP therapy guidance to patients. You will educate on usage, insurance requirements, and future resupply while using behavior-modification techniques to improve adherence and outcomes.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, data-driven coaching, HIPAA compliance, and compassionate patient support to help patients sleep better and stay engaged with therapy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience working with patients diagnosed with OSA preferred
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare)

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive patient outreach for the first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Place and take inbound/outbound calls to coach, educate and encourage patients with their CPAP therapy; assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Review patient usage information using manufacturer software to ensure data-driven calls.
• Explain therapy benefits and expected outcomes to patients to boost adherence.
• Have a basic understanding of PAP and mask equipment to address common questions.
• Encourage patients to use manufacturer mobile apps for ongoing therapy.
• Verify patient demographics, physician and notification preferences at each contact.
• Document patient interactions accurately to capture discussions and concerns.
