Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach to provide exceptional customer service and product information to CPAP patients. You will coach patients on therapy usage, address adherence barriers with behavior modification techniques, and provide resources to help patients understand insurance requirements and how to resupply devices.

The role involves proactive outreach during the first year of CPAP therapy, education via inbound/outbound calls, and collaboration with teams to improve patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with patients diagnosed with OSA preferred.
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive patient outreach for the first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Place and take inbound/outbound calls to coach and educate new CPAP sleep patients.
• Review patient usage information using manufacturer software to ensure data-driven coaching.
• Explain therapy benefits and troubleshooting to patients and enhance adherence.
• Document patient demographics, physician and notification preferences accurately.
• Encourage patients to use manufacturer mobile app solutions for self-care.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and perform other duties as required.
