Job summary

Okta is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead the SLED Accounts Solutions Engineering team across the US. You will mentor engineers, shape strategies, and partner with Sales to drive growth using Okta’s Identity Platform.

You will recruit, ramp, and develop a diverse team while collaborating with pre-sales and business units to close strategic deals across State, Local, and Higher Education accounts.

Qualifications

• 12+ years Pre Sales experience with 4+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, science or mathematics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Solutions Engineering team and develop their professional growth.
• Own business impact reporting for the team during opportunities.
• Actively work on deals, proposing strategies to ensure wins and provide on-site deal support.
• Promote collaboration with the larger Pre Sales teams and Okta business units.
• Recruit, ramp, and mentor diverse Solutions Engineers.
