Job summary

Okta is seeking an Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a team serving State, Local and Higher Education accounts across the US. You will drive demonstrations, deep dives, trials and value-based evaluations with prospects, while shaping strategy with sales leadership.

You will recruit and develop a high performing Solutions Engineering team, align with corporate roadmaps, and ensure successful deal execution with senior executives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Pre Sales experience with 4+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Experience with MEDDPICC and Value/Outcome based selling methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executives and strategic decisions in US Public Sector sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solutions Engineers serving State, Local and Higher Education accounts.
• Own business impact reporting and deal strategies, including on-site support.
• Recruit, ramp and mentor diverse Solutions Engineer teams.
• Collaborate with sales and other units to execute growth plans.
• Promote a strong team culture and drive talent development.
