Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for SLED and regulated industries. This remote role supports clients across state and local governments, higher education, and regulated sectors, ensuring compliant managed services proposals.

You will act as the primary presales technical resource, collaborating with Security and Cloud teams to address regulatory and audit requirements and to craft compelling value propositions for procurement audiences.

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years of technical presales or solutions consulting experience focused on public sector or regulated industries.
• Direct knowledge of CJIS, CMMC, FedRAMP, FERPA, GLBA, HIPAA, IRS 1075, PCI-DSS, StateRAMP, or NIST CSF.
• Experience with SLED procurement mechanisms and government contracts.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary presales technical resource for SLED and regulated clients.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover compliance requirements and procurement constraints.
• Translate regulatory requirements into managed services designs with auditability.
• Navigate procurement environments including NASPO, OMNIA Partners, TIPS, and government contracting cycles.
