Job summary

Proofpoint in Florida is expanding its State, Local, & EDU (SLED) sales team and seeks a field-based Account Manager to manage existing clients and drive net-new revenue within a named account territory.

You will be a trusted IT security advisor, report to the SLED Regional Sales Director, cover named accounts in the region, and collaborate with partners to grow solution adoption across email security, cloud and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into Public Sector clients.
• Strong network of clients and channel partners in the region.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security and/or software IT industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned accounts from prospecting to implementation of solutions.
• Establish Proofpoint as an IT Security trusted advisor for State, Local, & EDU clients.
• Develop and execute regional marketing/channel plans to drive adoption.
