Job summary

Oracle is seeking an Account Executive for the Data Platform & OCI to drive opportunities in State, Local Government & Education (SLED). You will sell Oracle Data Platform and OCI, guiding customers through data modernization and AI-enabled cloud transformations.

You will build executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and agency leaders, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, collaborating with engineering and success teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with success selling complex software, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
• Proven hunter mentality with prospecting and strategic outreach.
• Experience managing full enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close.
• Familiarity with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Ability to build executive relationships with CIOs/CTOs/CISOs and agency leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across State, Local Government & Education accounts.
• Prospect into assigned accounts via executive outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
• Lead customer discussions on data modernization, AI, cloud migration, and digital transformation.
• Drive sales of Oracle Database, OCI, AI services, analytics, and data platform solutions.
• Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from qualification to close.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and healthy pipelines using Oracle methodologies.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Solution Engineering, and Marketing.
