Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Platform & OCI Account Executive for State, Local Government & Education (SLED) in the North America Cloud organization. You will own the end-to-end sales process, prospecting into new accounts and building a robust pipeline while helping customers modernize their data platforms and migrate workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

You will engage CIOs/CTOs and other executives to position Oracle’s Data Platform, OCI, and AI services to solve critical government

Qualifications

4 years of enterprise technology sales experience.
Ability to hunt, prospect and create opportunities.
Experience managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Experience selling to State & Local Government, Higher Education, K-12 or Public Sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities across State, Local Government and Education accounts.
Prospect into assigned accounts via executive outreach, networking and partnerships.
Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other senior leaders.
Position Oracle’s Data Platform and OCI portfolio to solve data, AI and cloud challenges.
Lead discussions on data modernization, AI adoption, and digital transformation.
Drive sales of Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, AI Services and Analytics.
Manage territory plans and forecast, ensuring qualified pipeline and quota attainment.
Navigate the complete enterprise sales cycle from discovery to contract signing.
