Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Platform & OCI Account Executive for the State, Local Government & Education (SLED) segment in North America. You will own a broad territory, build executive relationships, and drive multi-cloud data platform and AI opportunities from prospecting to close.

The role emphasizes data modernization, cloud migration, and secure multi-cloud architectures, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes for government and education customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with demonstrated success selling complex software, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
• A passion for hunting, prospecting, and building new business through strategic outreach and relationship development.
• Experience managing the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Experience selling cloud infrastructures and data platforms, AI, analytics, and multi-cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across State, Local Government, and Education accounts.
• Prospect into assigned accounts through executive outreach, networking, and partner engagement.
• Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, CISOs, IT leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Position Oracle's Data Platform and OCI portfolio to solve data, AI, and cloud challenges.
• Lead discussions on data modernization, AI adoption, cloud migration, and digital transformation.
• Drive sales of Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, AI Services, Analytics, Data Integration, Data Lakehouse, OCI, and multi-cloud solutions.
• Develop and execute territory/account plans to generate pipeline and exceed sales objectives.
• Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle from first meeting to signed contract.
