Job summary

Oracle is seeking an Data Platform & OCI Account Executive for State, Local Government & Education (SLED) to own a broad territory and drive multi-cloud opportunities. You will prospect, build pipeline, open new accounts, and manage the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed contract.

You will engage CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and education leaders to modernize data platforms, accelerate AI adoption, and migrate workloads to OCI, delivering measurable outcomes across government and education

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with success selling complex software, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
• Passion for hunting, prospecting, and building new business through strategic outreach.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across State, Local Government, and Education accounts.
• Prospect into assigned accounts through executive outreach, networking, referrals, partner engagement, and strategic business development activities.
• Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, CISOs, IT leaders, agency executives, superintendents, university technology leaders, and line‑of‑business stakeholders.
• Position Oracle's Data Platform and OCI portfolio to solve customers’ strategic challenges.
• Lead discussions around data modernization, AI adoption, cloud migration, analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Drive sales of Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, AI Services, Analytics, Data Integration, Data Lakehouse, OCI, and multi‑cloud solutions.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans that generate qualified pipeline and exceed sales objectives.
• Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Partner with Oracle Cloud Engineering, Solution Engineering, AI Specialists, and other teams throughout the sales process.
