Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Platform & OCI Account Executive for the State, Local Government & Education (SLED) market in North America. You will drive data modernization, AI adoption, and multi-cloud strategies, building relationships from first meetings to signed contracts.

You will own a broad SLED territory, prospect new accounts, and lead the full enterprise sales cycle while collaborating with Oracle Cloud Engineering, AI specialists, and Customer Success teams to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise technology sales experience selling complex software, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated hunting mentality with success building pipeline.
• Experience managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Experience selling cloud infrastructure, PaaS, databases, data platforms, analytics, AI, or SaaS applications.
• Proven ability to sell into State & Local Government, Higher Education, K-12, or public sector is preferred.
• Ability to develop executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and other senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across State, Local Government, and Education accounts.
• Prospect through executive outreach, referrals, and partner engagement.
• Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, educators, and department leaders.
• Position Oracle Data Platform and OCI to address data, AI, and cloud challenges.
• Lead discussions on data modernization, AI adoption, and digital transformation.
• Drive sales of Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, AI Services, Analytics, and OCI solutions.
• Manage territory plans and a full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, AI Specialists, Customer Success, and Marketing.
