Job summary

Oracle’s State & Local Government team seeks an experienced Data Platform Sales Executive to lead new business opportunities across a defined territory. You will engage government executives, technology leaders, and partners to identify high‑value modernization opportunities and drive measurable outcomes for public-sector agencies.

You will own the strategy, build trusted relationships, and guide complex sales cycles from discovery through adoption and expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience selling enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, data platform, analytics or AI.
• Proven ability to develop new business and create pipeline in large accounts.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in a defined territory.
• Experience leading complex sales cycles with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own territory and account strategy for Oracle Data Platform growth.
• Build and execute account plans aligning mission priorities with technology strategies.
• Create pipeline via prospecting, whitespace development, and executive engagement.
• Develop trusted relationships with government executives, CIOs, and procurement teams.
• Translate priorities into Data Platform, cloud, analytics, and AI opportunities.
• Lead complex sales cycles from discovery to adoption and expansion.
• Coordinate cross-functional Oracle teams and partners to drive success.
• Understand customer environments, modernization roadmaps, and procurement processes.
