Heyday in Somerville, MA is seeking a Shift Lead to deliver a world-class client experience in our skincare shops. You will connect with clients, offer product recommendations, address queries, and lead a small team.

You’ll partner with the Shop Manager to manage schedules, supervise on-shift staff, assist with tasks, and contribute to training while maintaining product knowledge and inventory accuracy. This role requires flexible weekend hours and a proactive, hospitality-driven attitude.

• Confidence in selling products and services.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch client service and hospitality.
• Work with the Shop Manager to handle schedule adjustments, ensuring efficient operations.
• Manage Skin Therapist appointments within our booking system
• Supervise on-shift staff, including deployment, delegation, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the training and coaching of new Host team members.
• Assist in daily shop tasks and projects.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, support restocking efforts, manage inventory, and assist clients with product sales and returns.
