Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN is responsible for the care of residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care, and ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and supervising CNA staff while maintaining comprehensive nursing notes and reporting to physicians as required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Prepare and administer medications; document care in MAR and resident charts.
• Take vital signs, monitor patients, and provide IV therapy as ordered within license.
• Chart nurse notes reflecting care provided and patient response.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents to meet individual needs and ensure safety.
