Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead the nursing team at Villa at Silverbell Estates. The role focuses on managing day-to-day nursing activities, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

The incumbent will supervise staff, coordinate with healthcare professionals, and uphold infection control standards while maintaining regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college/university.
• Must hold a current RN license in the state.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborates with administration, medical/nursing staff, and other departments in care planning.
• Maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions.
• Provides and documents nursing care; ensures reports are completed and accurate.
• Ensures areas are clean, sanitary, and compliant with standards.
• Supports QA/PI activities to address deficiencies and improve care.
