Job summary

Villa Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to residents based on physician orders and established care plans.

The position requires excellent communication skills and a welcoming personality for effective interaction with residents and families. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, maintaining a sanitary environment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR trained and possess a current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress.
• Possess special interest in working with elderly residents.
• Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ability with company applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by the physician.
• Ensures assigned work area and treatment areas are maintained in a clean manner.
• Takes and records residents' vital signs and administers care as needed.
• Charts nurses notes reflecting care provided and resident’s response.
• Ensures environment is free from accidents and hazards.
• Directs non-licensed ancillary services to maintain quality care.
• Communicates with residents, families, and healthcare personnel.
