Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The LPN will assume responsibility for a group of residents during a shift, administering medications and monitoring health status in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities include providing care as prescribed, charting care and responses, supervising CNAs, and collaborating with the care team to maintain safe, high-quality resident care. This is a full-time, on-site role at a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Record nursing notes and vitals accurately.
• Coordinate with CNA staff for daily care delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Report and document changes in resident status to care team.
