Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as part of Ambassador, A Villa Center. The RN is accountable for a group of residents during a shift, administering nursing care per physician orders and company standards. Responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, shift reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requires active RN license in Michigan, CPR, and nursing degree. Prior LTC experience preferred; travel may be minimal.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification required
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college/university
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with regulations
• Produce and receive nursing reports at shift change
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces
• Supervise day-to-day CNA services to ensure quality care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care accurately in MAR and resident charts
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies
