Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Wayland. The role focuses on high-volume meal preparation, precise plating, and reliable kitchen operations to support patient dining services.

The Cook will work under the Dietary Manager, ensuring sanitation, inventory control, and adherence to standardized recipes. Availability for every other weekend is required, with opportunities to contribute to special events and menu development.

Qualifications

Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume settings.
Ability to prepare diverse meals following standardized recipes.
Wamiliar with maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare, portion and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per recipes.
Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
Serve as liaison for Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure smooth meal prep and delivery.
Maintain kitchen sanitation and clean equipment before and after service.
Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
Handle special events and last-minute culinary requests for facility events.
