Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a skilled Cook for a Nursing Facility in Providence, RI. The role centers on high-volume meal preparation and adherence to standardized recipes to deliver nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You will plate and present meals, support the Dietary Manager during their absence, maintain strict sanitation, manage inventory and recipe development, and handle last-minute requests for special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure attractive menu presentation.
• Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
