Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Revere, MA, is seeking a skilled Cook for a nursing facility. The role focuses on high-volume meal preparation, precise plating, inventory management, and ensuring exceptional standards of sanitation.

The Cook will support the Dietary Manager, follow standardized recipes, and handle special events and last-minute requests. This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Willing to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
