Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee billing, accounts receivable, and census data for residents at our facility. The BOM will coordinate Medicaid applications, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate billing across payor sources.

Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid processing and payer changes is essential. The role requires a high school diploma, basic accounting exposure, and at least 3 years in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Basic accounting or bookkeeping exposure helpful.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing and payer setups.

Responsibilities

• Enter and balance daily census in PointClickCare.
• Complete payer setup and changes for all residents.
• Coordinate Medicaid applications with Admissions and families.
• Maintain financial files on all residents.
• Process Medicaid redeterminations and authorizations.
• Attend Medicare meetings and review eligibility for residents.
