Ironwood Steakhouse in downtown Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will work a fast-paced line, execute recipes, and maintain high standards of plating and preparation.

The ideal candidate has professional line-cooking experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to stay organized during busy services. Previous steakhouse or upscale dining experience is preferred, with evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Professional line-cooking experience required.
• Steakhouse or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong knife skills and professional cooking techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and timing.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized station.
• Cook steaks and other items to proper temperatures.
• Communicate with chefs and kitchen staff.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with prep, receiving, storage and cleaning.
• Maintain consistency and quality during service.
• Support the entire culinary team as needed.
