Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is hiring a Line Cook for its upscale steakhouse kitchen. You will work in a fast-paced, scratch-style environment with emphasis on precise food presentation and execution, at an open kitchen layout where communication with the dining room and team is essential.

Responsibilities include managing tickets for proteins, ensuring proper temperatures, maintaining sanitation, and supporting opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 year previous kitchen/culinary/chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.

Responsibilities

• Operate line and prep stations in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ensure proper food temps and adherence to company specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and coordinate with team and management.
