PACS Group is seeking a maintenance worker to keep the grounds, facilities, and equipment in safe and efficient condition in line with applicable standards and policies. The role involves following maintenance schedules, coordinating with nursing services, and performing routine repairs and cleaning as directed.

You will be responsible for basic upkeep, safety, and confidentiality of resident information, with emphasis on following procedures and reporting incidents promptly.

Formación

• Education and/or Experience Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Language Skills Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas.
• Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
• Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsabilidades

• Follow maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to shift or area plans.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services for resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities and equipment as directed.
• Replace burned out lights and perform cleaning duties where necessary.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems as specified by manufacturer and policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.
• Inform residents when it is necessary to move their personal possessions.
