Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook to prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. You will communicate ticket times to the manager and servers, aiming for the highest quality service at all times.

This is a non-exempt position with responsibilities across multiple kitchen stations. Responsibilities include following recipes, estimating production needs, cleaning stations, and adhering to HACCP safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience, high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry is expected.
• Able to speak, read and comprehend instructions and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and product directions to prepare and cook food items.
• Estimate food requirements and plan production; requisition supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment; ensure food safety per HACCP standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage portions and temperatures.
