Job summary

Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association in Fairfield, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Care Unit. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and ensure safe, high-quality nursing care across shifts, supervising LPNs and CNAs.

Qualifications

Current Illinois RN licensure required.
BLS certification required.
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
Experience with electronic documentation systems preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and as conditions change.
Develop and follow individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team.
Document changes, notify physicians, and follow orders promptly.
Supervise LPNs and CNAs, assign duties and ensure continuity of care.
Administer medications and treatments safely using the five rights.
Educate residents and families and support discharge planning.
Lead handoffs and maintain infection control practices.
