Job summary

Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association in Fairfield, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg team. CNAs provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient comfort, and help maintain a therapeutic environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Illinois CNA program, and BLS certification. Prior CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Illinois CNA certification and BLS preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration for residents.
• Support personal hygiene including baths, grooming, and transfers.
• Assist with ambulation, turning and positioning of residents.
• Monitor vitals, document intake and output, and report changes.
• Maintain privacy and dignity, ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Document actions and communicate with nursing staff as needed.
