Job summary

Fairfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for our Skilled Care Unit. The CNA will provide direct and restorative care, support residents with daily living activities, and document observations under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Illinois CNA certification for Long Term Care.
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred; familiarity with electronic documentation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
• Assist with resident mobility (ambulation, transfers, positioning) using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Support restorative activities including range-of-motion exercises as directed by therapy staff.
