Job summary

Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association in Fairfield, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Skilled Care Unit. You will assist residents with daily living activities, support mobility, monitor vitals, and participate in restorative care under supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an Illinois CNA certification for LT care and BCLS within 3 months of hire; High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Illinois CNA certification for Long Term Care.
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and ADL assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Support resident mobility and transfers with proper body mechanics.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output and observations promptly.
• Assist with restorative activities and hydration/nutrition programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report changes to nursing staff.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges with dignity.
