Gerber Collision & Glass in Cincinnati is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble with a focus on speed, quality, and customer excellence while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs.

The role emphasizes using a range of body repair tools, maintaining safety, and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
