Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage; replace damaged parts and glass.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Inspect completed work and ensure it meets labor time guidelines and KPIs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
