Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Ohio is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting speed, quality, and customer excellence goals.

You will collaborate with the team to meet KPIs, prepare estimates, and perform repairs using cutting tools, welders, and painting processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan necessary repairs and prepare customer cost estimates; use tools to repair body sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed; realign chassis/frames for structural repair.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new/aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory or equivalent finishes.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
