Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Ohio. You will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble/reassemble parts, and work with a team to meet KPIs. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools to repair vehicle sections and restore structure.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, parts, or interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles per factory specs or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final results.
