Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs to return vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence across the shop.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, and working with the team to meet KPIs while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Hammers out dents, applies filler resins, and repairs vehicle surfaces.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; prepares and repaints vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
