Job summary

Sunday River Sports is seeking a Hard Goods Repair Technician to join our retail shop team in Newry, ME. The role focuses on maintaining guest service levels, repairing skis and snowboards, and mastering binding testing for safe, reliable performance.

Responsibilities include mounting bindings, paperwork, and keeping the shop area organized, while working with a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Prior rental shop experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
• Retail or rental shop experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Tune and repair skis and snowboards.
• Perform binding calibrations, testing, and certifications.
• Mounting and testing of bindings.
• Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area.
• Cross-trained in all Retail Shop positions.
• Understand products and services, and how to raise the bar for guests and Team Members.
• Must be able to multitask in a busy environment and be a team player.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
