Job summary

Boyne Resorts in Michigan is seeking a Shop Technician to tune and mount ski and snowboard bindings, greet customers, and ensure top-quality service from entry to checkout. You will assist customers with equipment, adjust fittings, explain safety, and perform maintenance of rental and sale items in a busy shop.

This role requires 2 years of tuning experience, 18+ years old, and weekend/holiday availability, with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• 2 years of ski/snowboard tuning and binding mounting/adjusting experience.
• Customer interaction oriented role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide information on skiing equipment and supplies.
• Assist with equipment selection and proper adjustment.
• Explain use and care of items and safety precautions.
• Tune, repair, and maintain equipment per vendor instructions.
• Document rentals and sales, ensuring receipts and change are correct.
• Oversee shop cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
