Job summary

Sunday River is seeking a Rental Technician (full-time or part-time) to assist guests with ski and snowboard equipment, deliver exceptional customer service, and work as part of a collaborative team. Training is provided on the job, and knowledge of skiing or snowboarding is essential.

Role requires availability on busy weekends/holidays and a willingness to participate in safety trainings, fittings, and equipment adjustments across the rental shop.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge about skiing and/or snowboarding is crucial.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time for every shift in uniform with timecard.
• Pass binding certification test as required.
• Verify that rental form is completed and signed by guests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of proper boot fit and selection.
• Select appropriate skis/bindings or snowboard/bindings and adjust accordingly.
• Help fit customers with equipment and make adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for damage.
• Explain binding operation to customers in detail.
• Maintain records and signed forms.
• Support Shop Mechanic with binding testing and repairs.
• Learn rental/retail equipment, PT clinics, ticketing & pricing.
