Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation in Lincoln, NH is seeking a Tuning & Demo Technician to help guests and staff fit, service, and maintain snowboarding and alpine skiing equipment, including binding work, mounting, tuning, waxing, and repairs.

You will greet customers, perform bindings testing and calibrations, mount bindings, and keep the shop organized while upholding safety and service standards in a busy retail environment. Weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combo.
• Previous retail sales experience in hard and soft goods preferred.
• Outdoor retail experience and boot fitting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide information on equipment and supplies.
• Tune and repair skis and snowboards.
• Perform binding calibrations, testing, and certifications.
• Mount and test bindings.
• Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area.
• Cross-train in all Retail Shop positions.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Protect the safety of self, coworkers, and guests.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor promptly.
